Rev. Chi Yin Chung was born and brought up in Hong Kong. He is a member of Kowloon City Baptist church. After having been called by the Lord to be full-time worker in his early twenties, he enrolled in Bethel Bible Seminary and graduated with a Bachelor Degree of Theology. He also had a Master Degree of Divinity from Lutheran Theological Seminary. He furthered his studies for a Master Degree of Theology in South East Asia Graduate School of Theology, majoring in counseling.

Pastor Chung has been serving as a pastor in various Chinese Christian churches both in Hong Kong and in United States for more than twenty years. He had also worked in seminary and Christian organizations as ministry leaders for several years. He came to United States to serve the Lord in 1997 and married his wife Ka Mei Cheung.

His ambition is to implement the theological education in church. He then had further studies in the United States and obtained a Doctor Degree of Theology in Pastoral Theology and a Doctor Degree of Philosophy in Religious Education. He not only received different mediation trainings from several organizations and institutes, but also carried out  research on church conflicts.
